Supplied pen knife to cut coke bottles.
Created most of the blog whilst Andrew was in hospital and absent for 2 days.
Andrew:
Supplied Pond weed.
Supplied Plants x3
Supplied worms.
Supplied Avocado , lettuce , insects

What exists in our different sections
In our Terra section we have planted 2 types of plants for many reasons: We planted a cactus like plant which will not die easily due to lack of water. The other type of plant we have 2 of and grow very quickly which results into nice big ,strong plants.
In our Decomposition section we have put soil ,avocado, lettuce, worms , insects and fruit inside. These will decompose relatively quickly due to the worms along with the insects thus resulting into a healthy Decomposition section.
Our Aqua zone was supposed to have water snails inside but unfortunately when Andrew went to Perky Pets to buy water snail ,they were sold out and so were other stores. This is not the end of the world because Andrew did manage to buy some pond weed for our which is a very important aspect of our Aqua zone.

Thanks to Sir
On behalf of Andrew and Jordan we would like to give a big thank you to our teacher Yaasien Kerbelker for helping us glue down our stand with his impeccable hot glue gun skills.
Finished product
After a long a hard 45 minutes of putting everything together and hours of preparations we have completed our Self-sustaining eco-colomn .
The final product was very satisfying and pleasing to the eye as we had completed all the requirements.
This picture to the right is of our aqua area. There are many living organisms here , including the pond weed ( green plants ) and organisms in the bore - hole water.
This is a picture of the middle ( Decomposition) area , this area contains Soil ; worms ; insects and decomposing fruit and vegetables.
This picture is of the top ( Terra ) section . Terra means earth , as with we added plants ; worms ; insects and soil. Everything you would find on the surface of the earth.
In order allow our self sustaining ecosystem to thrive without human contact we placed it in the Bishops green-house . We made sure to place it near the back so nobody attempting to reach their ecocolomn would move ours disrupting the systems taking place.
In the event that too much water accumulates in our aqua section we will make use of our over-flow pipe to catch water.
Contributions we made by both Andrew and Jordan

The bottom section is the aqua area this will contain all flowing liquids . unlike in this picture we will have an overflow pipe to contain overflowing water.
